LOLLO LETTUCE
There are two varities of lettuce Lollo: red lollo and green lollo .
The red lollo is a variety of lettuce introduced in Italy about a decade ago from Northern Europe , with light red tufts almost green or " TRIPLE RED " variety of a bright red and almost to scarlet , the green lollo is a lettuce variety with bright light green, short and semi-spherical tufts.
Lettuce generally prefers temperate climates and can not stand the intense cold and dry heat.
